We have three membership types: Family, Individual, and Youth. A Family membership may have two adults living at the same address, and any number of children under the age of 26 living at the same address. An Individual membership includes one adult member. A Youth membership includes one youth 3 years to 17 years old. Youth who are 18 yet still in high school still qualify for a youth membership until the end of their senior year.
We also offer SilverSneakers and Silver & Fit memberships!
All eligible SilverSneakers and Silver&Fit participants receive a free membership at our Y. There are no restrictions to when SilverSneakers or Silver&Fit members can use the Y.
Absolutely! Your membership includes guest passes which can be picked up at the Membership Desk. You can give these passes to friends or family so they can check out the Y! A Y Member must accompany guests in order for them to use a guest pass. Guests 17 years and younger must have an adult 18 years or older present with them in the building throughout their entire visit.
Yes, as a member of the Rose E. Schneider Family YMCA, you can visit any YMCA in the United States that participates in Nationwide Reciprocity. In order to maintain your membership status, you must visit your home Y the majority of your visits, or 51%+.
Yes! KidQuarium is the perfect place to put your little one while you exercise. Children as young as 6 weeks and up to 7 years old can use KidQuarium. There is a $2.00 fee per visit per child for members, and a $4.00 fee per visit per child for non-members.
Yes, we have a scholarship program for those in need of assistance with membership dues or program fees. To apply for a scholarship, please click here.
A development fee is a required cost when signing up for a membership. While our membership dues enable us to pay our staff, facility and program costs, the development fee enables us to work on major projects such as building an outdoor playground for the community, or refurbishing our steam room (completed in 2019). Without the development fee, projects to enhance our Y and provide more value to our members would not be possible.
(At this time, we are not offering day passes until further notice due to facility restrictions. Effective October 2020)
Yes, we’d love to have you visit us! You can buy a day pass at our Y. The cost is $10.00 for adults 18+, or $5.00 for children 17 years and younger. Government issued identification will be required for all visiting adults 18+. In addition, children 17 years and younger must have an adult 18+ with them in our facility at all times in order to use our facility.
Yes, you can place your membership on hold for up to two months. Placing your membership on hold suspends all membership dues to your account during the extent of the hold, and enables you to return as a member without reassessing the development fee. Find out more here.
At the Y, there are no contracts for the length of your membership. If you need to cancel your Y membership, please fill out this online form or visit the Y to fill out paperwork. Cancellation requests must be made 7 days prior to your dues draft date in order to be taken into effect, per the membership agreement signed when becoming a member.
Yes, we are a nonprofit organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service with a 501(c)3 charitable designation. All donations made to the Y are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
Simply fill out our Contact Us form below or call us at 724-452-9122 and a Y representative will be happy to help you!
When you give to the Y, you are funding life-changing programs that help thousands of children, adults and families in Butler County to learn, grow and thrive.
