KidQuarium is an area where children 6 weeks to 7 years of age can enjoy toys and activities for up to 2 hours while their parents use the facility. This service is for members, day pass members, guest pass members or program participants only.

Payment should be made with a KidQuarium electronic Punch Card, which may be purchased at the Membership Desk or online.

Facility Rentals are available to non-profit organizations. For activity-based rentals a Certificate of Liability Insurance (COI) is required, naming the Butler County Family YMCA as additionally insured for a minimum of $1,000,000. The YMCA will not rent to a business or individuals who intend to charge a fee or sell products/services.

• Aquatic safety at our pools is our first priority. All children ages 12 years and younger must participate in a swimming skills assessment and will be provided a colored wristband based on their swimming ability. Once tested, each time a child comes into the Y to use the Aquatics Center they will need to acquire their appropriate color wristband from the Member Service Desk when checking in.

MEMBERSHIP

• Membership dues are non-refundable and are not based on facility usage.
• A $10 Returned Payment Fee will be assessed for any declined payments.

• Outstanding balances must be reconciled before any changes to your membership may be processed such as membership hold, change, cancellation or reinstatement, and program registration.

PROGRAMS

• The Y reserves the right to cancel any program that does not meet the minimum enrollment numbers. Programs cancelled by the Y will be fully refunded in the form of the original payment or the amount can be applied to your membership account for future use.
• If a program participant wishes to cancel out of a program, they must contact the director (in writing) no less than 7 days prior to the start of the program. Members will receive a system credit for the amount of the program minus a $5.00 processing fee. Non-Members will receive a gift card for the amount of the program minus a $5.00 processing fee. No refund will be given with less than 7 days’ notice of the start of the program.
• If a class is scheduled on a holiday or if the class is cancelled due to bad weather or a situation beyond the Y’s control, the class may or may not be made up.

  Please note, the processing of refunds can take approximately ten business days.

• A $10 Returned Payment Fee will be assessed for any declined payments.

• Outstanding balances must be reconciled before registering for programs.

PERSONAL TRAINING

• All purchases are non-refundable; no monetary value for unused sessions.
• Appointment cancellation: 24 hour notice required to reschedule with trainer or one session will be deducted from you balance. Appointments cancelled by the Y, due to weather or other conditions outside of the Y’s control, will be rescheduled.
• Sessions must be used within 1 year of purchase; no monetary value for unused sessions.

• Outstanding balances must be reconciled before registering for programs.

MEMBERSHIP HOLD

• This cannot be a verbal request.
• You may not request a membership hold for medical reasons. Use the membership cancellation form. Provide a dated doctor’s release at the time of membership reinstatement and the development fee will not be reassessed provided membership reinstatement occurs within one month of the dated doctor’s release.
• You may temporarily hold your membership for up to two months consecutively without penalty.
• Requests will only be accepted with a minimum seven-day notice prior to your billing date. The actual billing day of the 1st or 15th is not included in the seven-day count. There will be one more payment prior to your membership hold if a written request is not received within this policy.
• You may complete a Membership Hold Form online or at the membership desk.
• Monthly membership payments will automatically resume at the end of your membership hold unless a membership cancellation request (see below) is provided seven days prior to your billing date. There will be one more payment prior to your membership cancellation if a written request is not received within this policy.
• Memberships that have lapsed for longer than two months will be reassessed the development fee upon membership reinstatement.
• Outstanding balances must be reconciled before any changes to your membership may be processed such as membership hold, change, cancellation or reinstatement.

MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION

• This cannot be a verbal request.
• You may complete a Membership Cancellation Form online or at the membership desk.
• Requests will only be accepted with a minimum seven-day notice prior to your billing date. The actual billing day of the 1st or 15th is not included in the seven day count. There will be one more payment prior to your membership cancellation if a written request is not received within this policy.

MEMBERSHIP CHANGES

• This cannot be a verbal request.
• You may complete a Membership Change Form online or at the membership desk.
• Changing your membership type requires a minimum seven-day notice prior to your billing date. The actual billing day of the 1st or 15th is not included in the seven day count.
• Indicate which family member will remain active.
• You may change back to your original membership type without penalty, if your membership has remained active within the two-month allowance. You may change your membership type by completing a change form at the membership desk.
• Outstanding balances must be reconciled before any changes to your membership may be processed such as membership hold, change, cancellation or reinstatement.

• REGISTRATION
  Program registration can only be done online or in person at the Membership Desk. The Rose E. Schneider Family YMCA does not accept phone registrations. A $10 Returned Payment Fee will be assessed for any declined payments.
• WAITLIST POLICY
  If a program participant opts to be added to a program waitlist, they acknowledge that they may be added to the program up to 48 hours to the start of the program. If a program participant would like to be removed from a waitlist, they must email the program director directly with their request. As program spots become available, program directors will add participants to the roster, charge the participant the program fee, and send an email receipt. If a program participant is added to the roster and charged, any cancellation requests would fall under our cancellation policy.
• PARTICIPATION WAIVER
  Submission of the program registration indicates permission for the participant to be photographed and/or videotaped by the Rose E. Schneider Family YMCA and public media unless a separate written request not to photograph is submitted. Photographs/video will be used to promote YMCA activities. Furthermore, the participant assumes all risks associated with the program and releases the YMCA, its directors, officers, agents, and volunteers from all liability whatsoever for any injuries, accidents, illnesses, lost or stolen items, or damages to personal property in connection with my participation.
• CANCELLATION POLICY
  If a program participant wishes to cancel out of a program, they must contact the director (in writing) no less than 7 days prior to the start of the program. Members will receive a system credit for the amount of the program minus a $5.00 processing fee. Non-Members will receive a gift card for the amount of the program minus a $5.00 processing fee. • COVID-19
  Programs are subject to change, including cancellation or when applicable hosted virtually rather than in-person, if the YMCA is forced to close or limit participation at our facility for reasons related to government-mandated lock-downs or capacity limitations. In the event that this occurs, programs and classes that are able to be hosted virtually will do so and no refund or credit will be given. For programs unable to coordinate an alternative solution, whether virtually or any other, prorates will be refunded in the form of a system credit for members or a gift card for non-members to be used for a future program and will be provided to all participants. The YMCA assumes no responsibility in the event of COVID-19 related regulations, limitations or any other COVID-19 related issue.

• Most group exercise classes are designed and available for every level of fitness and experience. The schedule shows the recommended fitness levels for each class. Classes listed as 1, 2, 3, can accommodate participants of all fitness levels; those listed with 2, 3 are not recommended for beginners.

• In the event of inclement winter weather, program cancellations will be at the discretion of the program director and will be communicated accordingly.
  - Healthy Living/Land Group Exercise cancellations will be communicated via our mobile app.
  - Youth & Family cancellations will be emailed by the Youth & Family Director.
  - Swim Lessons cancellations will be communicated via the Remind App.
  - Water Fitness cancellations will be posted to the Aquatics Facebook group (RES YMCA Aquatics).

• Please note that the facility will remain open for recreational use unless otherwise noted.
• Program Make-up: If a class is scheduled on a holiday, cancelled due to bad weather, or a situation beyond the YMCA’s control, the class will not be made up. Reasonable attempts will be made to accommodate class cancellation. Refunds will not be issued.
• Y Kids Academy: If Seneca Valley School District is on a two hour delay, the following schedule will apply:
  - AM student’s class time: 10:30AM-12:00PM
  - PM student’s class time: 1:30PM-3:00PM
  - Extended Preschool time: 12:00PM-1:30PM
  - If Seneca Valley closes, Y Kids Academy will not be held.

• Facility: Youth 7 years and younger must always be within arm's length of an adult 18 years of age or older. Children 8 and older can be in the facility without adult supervision.
• Cardio Wellness Center: Children 10 years and under are not permitted in the Cardio Wellness Center. Youth members 11-15 years of age are permitted to use the Cardio Wellness Center with a Wellness Center Youth Certification or with a parent or Personal Trainer.
• Aquatics Center: Children 7 years and younger must have an adult in the Aquatics Center, regardless of band color. Children 8 years and older with a green or yellow band can be in the Aquatics Center without adult supervision. Children of any age with a red band must always be within accompanied within arm's length of an actively-engaged adult 18 years or older.

• Attire must be appropriate, modest and non-sexually revealing. The YMCA reserves the right to define inappropriate attire when necessary.
• A shirt must be worn at all times, excluding activities within the Aquatics Center. This includes our outdoor track.
• Within activity areas, shoes must be clean, closed-toed and dry of debris (sidewalk salt, mud, etc.).

• Youth members 11-15 years of age are permitted to use the Wellness Center with a *Wellness Center Youth Certification or with a parent or Personal Trainer.
  
  • Youth who have completed a *Wellness Center Youth Certification must wear their Youth ID badge at all times and are permitted to the following:
    
    • Youth 11-13 years old may use the track, bikes and weight machines only.
    • Youth 14-15 years old may use all cardio equipment and weight machines.
  • *Wellness Center Youth Certifications can be obtained by scheduling a certification with a Wellness Staff at the Wellness Desk.
• Youth members 10 years or younger ARE NOT permitted in the Wellness Center or Strength & Conditioning Center, even if accompanied by a parent or Personal Trainer.
• Youth members 16 years or older are permitted to use all equipment and do not need supervision.

• The trail is a ½ mile loop and open to runners and walkers; foot traffic only. Strollers are welcome, but pets are not.

A monthly membership fee will be deducted from your checking or savings account. The member is responsible for verifying all drafts and draft cancellations. Errors must be brought to the attention of the Membership Account Manager by emailing rosebilling@bcfymca.org. The YMCA will not be responsible for draft errors beyond 60 days. A $10 Returned Payment Fee will be assessed for any declined payments.

Monthly fee will be charged to your credit card (MasterCard, Visa or American Express). A $10 Returned Payment Fee will be assessed for any declined payments.

Pay the annual fee in full by cash, check or credit card. Non-refundable. Membership holds do not apply to annual memberships.
